Good afternoon! I am very excited to launch the third eBook in my Everyday Health series today! I worked hard on these 10 new recipes and cannot wait to hear what you think. All of the current Sugar Cleanse participants received a copy on Saturday and many of them have been making the recipes while on the cleanse.
This eBook series has been really fun to put together this year. When I think back to this time last year, the idea to create an eBook was just floating around in my head. It seemed like such a daunting and impossible dream. With the help of my coach and encouragement from friends I got busy last fall coming up with a game plan for the recipes. It seemed fitting to create a short eBook every season rather than have to work for a year on one big volume. Breaking it down like that in retrospect was such a good idea for me. Starting off only having to work on 10 recipes at a time made it much more manageable.
Working on this ongoing series this year has given me more confidence in my recipe writing abilities and greatly improved my cooking and photography skills. I have learned so much from these experiences and am glad I took the plunge and followed through with a dream I had for a while – to make a recipe book!
When I think about the Wellness Wednesday I think about it in holistic terms. Wellness is just as much about the foods we put into our bodies as it is pursuing our passions in life. We have to be willing to take risks and go after what we want in order to have optimal health – it is all interconnected.
